ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Yen Yi Chung is a painter from Taipei, Taiwan, living in Northern California's Bay Area. She showed her love for art from an early age and enrolled in art school in high school and college. After that, she came to the United States to study fine art at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and received a master's degree in 2023. Her areas of expertise include oil painting, drawing, watercolor, and sketching.
Yen Yi's current work, "Geometric City," refers to abstract paintings in San Francisco. The series is a collection of oil painting images arranged in geometric shapes, drawn from her state of mind during the pandemic and her special affection for San Francisco. Her artistic inspiration comes from her surroundings, enabling her to transform her feelings into vivid abstract paintings.
